Yorkshire School Counseling

My name is Cris Forney, and I'm thrilled to be the full-time School Counselor at Yorkshire Elementary.  I am a mother of two children and know how important it is for them to experience a successful start to their school careers.  As the school counselor, I get to help your children adjust to school expectations and develop a love of learning and respect for others.   I also enjoy problem solving and planning with our teachers, staff, and parents.  I feel passionate about helping our children build the pro-social attitudes needed to grow into caring, productive citizens.  I value the school and parents as partners in educating our youth, please feel free to contact me at 885-1230 or
